It's a Start

Change starts with "yourself" the individual change will grow but very slowly. The biggest problem today is the breakdown of family.and removing God from everything! This young man was dead inside and from a broken home. Not going to blame video games but they played a big role in his lack of making REAL connections to other people. It probably made it easier for him to kill his room mates as they slept. We need to go back to basics. Tonight eat at the family dinner table and give thanks before you eat. Put the phones down during the meal and talk. Say please and thank you and LOVE one another. The golden rule must triumph and maybe just maybe we can change course. Oh, and about that meal you all sit down to eat make sure it's got wholesome ingredients........ it's a start

Lets Talk About Mental Illness

The Santa Barbara shooting was tragic!! You will hear a lot of people scream for gun control but three of the victims were stabbed to death. What this county has is a problem dealing with mental health issues. This young serial killer was screaming about killing others on YouTube. The police visited him but he was polite and answered all their questions. If they had searched his room or was told about the YouTube videos this all could have been avoided. The police are not equipped to deal with mental illness. Also why was this young man with Asperger Syndrome, one of the autism spectrum disorders, allowed to purchase fire arms? This will possibly some people off but I said when the ADHD drugs were first introduced that years will go by and the effects will be seen...well guess what?? This country needs to stop supporting the big pharmaceutical companies, get off there ass and parent!!! Start with the food you give your children. Red food dye and some preservatives should be outlawed. Make wholesome food less expensive. I could go on but people need to wake up and stop being sheep lead off to be slaughtered! !!!
